Providing necessary water, light, heating and seweragefacilities for school buildings and purchasing land therefor;The said election will be held at and votes may be CAst at theOxford City Hall, Oxf6rd, Mississippi.The polls of said election vrill be opened at the hour of7 o'clock in the morning and will be kept open until the hourof 6 o'clock in the evening of the aforesaid date, pnd saidelection shall be held and conducted as far as practicablein accordance with the laws regulating general elections inthe state of Mississippi and in the City of Oy£ord.All qualified electors of the said Oxford MunicipalSeparate School District will be entitled to vote in the saidelection.By Order of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Cityof Oxford, 11ississippi, this 16 day of January, 1951Robert W. That the said special election shall be held and conductedby the Election Commissioners within and for the said City of Oxford, and shallbe conducted, as far as practicable, in accordance with the laws regulatinggeneral elections in the State of Mississippi and in the City of Oxford.When the said Election Commissioners shall have received the returns of thesaid election and ascertained the results thereof, they shall, after havingcanvassed the same, forthwith make return thereof to the Mayor and Board ofAldermen of the City of Oxford by filing a report setting forth their aotionin the holding of said election and the results thereof.Section 6.
