Fulmer, Deputy <strong>City</strong> Clerk*******************After the meeting had been called to order, the following business was transacted::Came on for oonsideration the matter <strong>of</strong> d:Lscontinuing the use <strong>of</strong> the courtesy cards for out<strong>of</strong>-townoars and after a full discussion <strong>of</strong> the matter, Alderman T. E. Combs made a motionthat the present use <strong>of</strong> the oourtesy card system for over parking be discontinued altogether.Alderman W. T. Chandler seoonded the above motion and the following vote was tabulated::Alderman W. T. Chandler voted YeaAlderman A. H • Avent votedAlderman T. E. Combs votedYeaYeaAlderman :Ben J. Hilbun voted Nay'Alderman H. S. Sisk not present.*******************Came on for consideration the matter <strong>of</strong> J. C. Humets salary,wilich has been paid at the rate<strong>of</strong> $50.00 per week. Atter a discussion <strong>of</strong> the matter, motion was made, seconded and passedunanjmously and it was ordered that beginning the 1st <strong>of</strong> November that Mr. Htune receive hispay on a monthly basis. It was further ordered that Mr. Hume be issued a check for $200.00o. the first day <strong>of</strong> each month.********************The'"Mq'or and Board <strong>of</strong>' Aldermen received letters from Mrs. Joe Woodward and Noel Hodgerequesting that property owned by them betveen South Lamar Street and South 11th Streetand facing University Avenue be changed from residential district to commercial district.After due consideratio:t;l motion was made, .. econded and passed Wlanimously that thGserequests be granted.
