Upon motion qy Alderman H. S. Sisk, seconded by Alderman T. Acting under and pursuant to a certain resolution adopted qyyou on the 11th day <strong>of</strong> <strong>July</strong>, <strong>1950</strong>, entitled:"RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING PETITION AND CALLINGA SPECIAL BEER ELECTION TO DETERMINE WImHER THE SALE,ETC. OF BEER OF AN ALCHOUC CONTENT OF NOT MORE THANFOUR PER CENT (4%) BY WEIGHT SHALL BE PERMITTED WITHIN THECITY UMITS OF OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI, nthe city clerk and we did cause notices <strong>of</strong> said election to be published inthe <strong>Oxford</strong> Eagle, a newspaper <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>, Lafayette County, MissiSSippi, andto be posted on JulY 1.3, <strong>1950</strong>, in three public places in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>,namely on the bulletin boards at the <strong>City</strong> Hall and the Court House, and ona bulletin board on the South side <strong>of</strong> the Square next to Blaylock's Drug Store.All <strong>of</strong> said notices were so published in the form and manner <strong>of</strong> Exhibit Ahereto, and were published in the manner aforesaid on the dates set forth insaid Exhibit A and the publisher's affidavit, on <strong>July</strong> 1.3, 20, 27, and August3, 10, 17, 24, 31, <strong>1950</strong>.--- -- ---------------
