The twenty best rated dogs of the
Young dog class and Junior class will
be presented to the spectators in the
main arena when the judging has
been finished; next is the presentation
ceremony of the first rated three dogs
of the Young dog class and the Junior
class as well as the presentation
ceremony of the best dogs of the
working dogs class herding males and
females.
When the judging of the working dog
class females has been finished the
presentation ceremony for the best
dogs in protection service and of the
VA rated females will follow, next is
the breed group competition.
Following the conclusion of judging of
the working dog class males, then the
presentation ceremony of the best
dogs in protection service and of the
VA rated males.

Working Dog Class males:

Working Dog Class: Dogs which are at
least 2 years old by the given date of
September 03 th 2010, with training
degree and which already have
received the show rating “excellent” or
which have a minimum show rating
of “very good” at a regional or national
winners breed show.
For dogs from other countries, the
evidence of eligibility to the Working
Dog Class must be submitted in the
form of proof of passing a test at
international class level so far as the
concerned dog does not have a
training degree pursuant to VDH or
WUSV trial regulations or similar
institution recognised by the SV.
Dogs in the Working Dog Class must
complete a protection service test
before the stand examination. Dogs
which achieve the result “pass” or “not
sufficient” must not take part in the
further competition. Dogs that receive
the result „does not release“ (effective
also at an exercise) do not get a TSBrating
and are not allowed to take part
at the further competition.
Young Dog Class:
Dogs under the age of 24 months and
over the age of 18 months by the given
date of September 03 th 2010.
Junior Class:
Dogs under the age of 18 months and
over the age of 12 months by the given
date of September 03 th 2010.
No previous SG show rating is required
for either of these classes.
Eligible are German Shepherd Dogs
which are registered in the breeding
book of the SV or another breeding
book recognised by the FCI. The dog
must be at least 12 months old and
vaccinated against rabies. Excluded are
dogs which are ill or suspected to be ill.
Dogs with distemper or skin diseases
will be strictly declined. Dogs which
are not registered for the show are not
allowed, under no circumstances, to be
brought into the show grounds. All
exhibitors must secure that their dog

the dogs of visitors) must show a proof
of an effective vaccination against
rabies. The protection against rabies is

For the Winner Title and the V
Selection Class only in Class 1 breed
surveyed dogs are eligible. (Dogs from
other countries where the awarding of
breed surveys does not take place are
excepted.) Dogs with reproach and
complete teeth and in good condition
and with at least the training degree
SchH2. These must be descended from
survey- and performance breeding as
well as an ED-rating “normal”, “nearly
normal” or “still acceptable”. Dogs
which are intended to start in the V-
Selection Class for the second time
must proof the training degree SchH3.
“V” in the Working Dog Class can only
be given to dogs with “a” which are
over 3 ½ years old and are breed
surveyed. Dogs born after January 1th
2004 need also an elbow rating of
“normal”, “nearly normal” or “still
acceptable”. Dogs kept in other
countries are excepted.
Herding Working Dog Classes:
Dogs older than 24 months must have
passed the training degree „HGH“
(herding dog). The training degree
must have been passed under a SV
recognized HGH-judge.
Dogs which are intended to be shown
in the Young dog class and Junior class
can also be presented without training
degree on condition that the owner is
registered as shepherd. The proof must
be given through a certification of the
shepherd’s federation of the country
where the owner lives.

The organiser is not liable for any
damages caused by a dog, even not in
the case of theft of a dog.
Should any dog fall ill after the
stand examination, this must be
reported immediately to the
veterinarian, who will be present in
the show grounds.
Withdrawals can only be permitted,
if a confirmation from the obliged
vet of confidence or the form
“withdrawal” (issued by the
prescribed by the manufacturer of the
vaccine.
Puppies under the age of three months
without vaccination can come to the
show if a) they are accompanied by
their dam or b) a declaration in writing
is presented from the person entitled
to dispose stating, that the animal has
been kept only at the location of its
birth and that it has never been in
contact with wild animals.

Breed Groups:
Breeders, that have enrolled a breed
group, can have their groups judged on
Friday. Therefore a specially ordered
judge is for your disposal. Breed groups
have to consist of five dogs. The
breeder, however, is free to nominate
more breed groups. All dogs of the
breed group have to be presented as a
closed group. All breed groups are
evaluated on Friday and are judged on
Sunday after the judging of the
working dog classes is finished.
Training degrees and breed surveys
which are not proven by July 28t h 2010
(registration deadline) will not be
published in the catalogue.
We recommend that members and
exhibitors who are entering dogs
which have recently passed a breed
survey or a training degree, should
send in a notarised copy of the
documentation (score book, show card,
breed survey proof).
For registrations in the Junior and
Young Dog Classes a certified copy of
page 1 and 4 (signed either by a
breeding warden or a notary) is
needed. On this should also appear the
complete change of ownership.

For dogs from foreign countries the
regulations of the decree (EG) Nr.
998/2003 are in effect (tattoo or
microchip). Additionally, for dogs from

foreign countries there must be
presented either a “pet passport”
according to article 5 paragraph 1 of
the regulations of the decree (EG) Nr.
998/2003 or a Certificate of Health
according to the sample of the
addition to the decision 2004/824/EG.
Exhibitors and people who care for the
dogs have to announce the occurrence

or No. 4 cannot be presented, the dog is
excluded from the event.
During the event the participating
dogs must be under constant
supervision of their caretakers.
In case that there should be an
outbreak of rabies in the City of
