The candidate desirous of canceling admission shall apply for cancellation in the pro forma – O andget the printout of the receipt of the online cancellation It is mandatory to the Principal/Director of the institution to cancel the admission of the candidateonly through online system and issue the receipt of cancellation to the candidate.7.8 Issue of College Leaving Certificate: If during the course of studies, candidate desires to discontinue studies for any reason whatsoever,he or she shall be allowed to do so and it shall be presumed that he or she has cancelled admissionat that stage. The Principal shall issue College Leaving Certificate and fees shall be refunded as perthe rules mentioned. Engineering/Technology If the admission is cancelled on or before 20 days from the last date of reporting of each CAPround, the original school or college leaving certificate on the strength of which a candidate wasadmitted shall be returned. If the admission is cancelled after 20 days from the last date of reporting after each round of AP,the leaving certificate from the institution where the candidate was finally admitted should be issued.A true copy of the original school or college leaving certificate retained by the institute may be issued,if requested by the candidate, duly attested by the Head of the Institute.7.9 Refund of Tuition, Development and Other fees after cancellation of admission secured through CAProunds‐I/II/III/IV, in Institute level round(s) and Vacancy Round(s) of admissions in Government, Aided,University Departments and Unaided Institutes:The candidate who has been provisionally admitted may cancel admission by submitting anapplication in duplicate, in the prescribed pro forma - O and may request for refund of fees. Therefund of fees as applicable shall be made in due course. It is made clear that such application forcancellation will be considered if and only if the admission is confirmed by paying the prescribedtuition fee and other fees in full and by submitting the original documents. Refund shall be madeafter deduction of the cancellation charges as shown below:S.No. SITUATION REFUND AMOUNT1. 2. * For the calculation of amount on the pro-rata basis, one month shall be treated as one unit e.g. ifthe candidate cancels the admission on third day after start of the academic session and the seat isfilled on/before the cutoff date, then cancellation amount will be, total fees/12 or Rs. 1000/-,whichever is higher.3.
