7.2 Fees prescribed in Unaided Engineering Colleges:The interim fee structure <strong>for</strong> unaided Engineering <strong>college</strong>s approved by the Shikshan Shulka Samitiwill be made available on http://www.dte.org.in/fe<strong>2009</strong>. Unaided Engineering Colleges may havesubmitted their proposals <strong>for</strong> revision in fees to Shikshan Shulka Samiti. The revision in the fees ifany, by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti will be binding on the students who will be admitted in the year<strong>2009</strong>-10 and the students taking admission in these institutes will have to pay the fees accordingly. Fees <strong>for</strong> Additional seats against Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme: same as the fees asapproved by Shikshan Shulka Samiti <strong>for</strong> regular seats.Details <strong>of</strong> Concession in fees <strong>for</strong> Backward Class Category Candidates (belonging to MaharashtraState only) in Unaided Private Institutes is mentioned in Rule 7.6.3. Note: No additional fees otherthan the University Fees as specified by the respective University and Hostel Fees in case <strong>of</strong>candidates opting <strong>for</strong> hostel accommodation shall be charged at institute level from the candidates.7.3 Fees <strong>for</strong> J&K Migrant Candidates and GoI nominees: Jammu and Kashmir Migrant candidates shall pay the same fees as that <strong>of</strong> the fees <strong>of</strong> the Govt.institutes to respective institutes where they have secured the admission. Government <strong>of</strong> India Nominee candidates shall pay the same fees as that <strong>of</strong> the fees <strong>of</strong> the Govt.institutes to respective institutes where they have secured the admission.7.4 University fees:Candidates shall be required to pay fees as prescribed by the concerned University from time to time.7.5 Caution Money deposits:Caution money deposits received from the students shall be refunded after successful completion <strong>of</strong>the course or after canceling the admission. Unless there is any recovery, no deduction shall be madefrom the caution money deposit. However, the amount <strong>of</strong> caution money deposit shall be transferredto Students Aid Fund in case <strong>of</strong> Un-Aided <strong>college</strong>s and credited to Government in case <strong>of</strong> Governmentand Government-Aided College, if candidate does not apply <strong>for</strong> refund, within 3 complete financialyears after the student actually leaves the institution; or, within 3 complete financial years after thedate <strong>of</strong> successful completion <strong>of</strong> the course, whichever is earlier.7.6 Concession in tuition and other fees:All the schemes given below, regarding concession in tuition & other fees shall be available tocandidates belonging to Maharashtra State only subject to the fulfillment <strong>of</strong> the eligibility criteriaspecified by respective authorities <strong>of</strong>fering such concession in fees from time to time.7.6.1 E.B.C. Concession:Candidates claiming concessions <strong>for</strong> Economically Backward Class (E.B.C.) shall produce a certificatefrom the Executive Magistrate to the effect that the candidate belongs to EBCcategory at the time <strong>of</strong> admission. They shall, on admission, also submit an application in theprescribed <strong>for</strong>m <strong>for</strong> being granted the concession <strong>of</strong> free education, to the appropriate authoritiesthrough the <strong>college</strong> to which they are admitted within one month from the actual date <strong>of</strong> joining <strong>of</strong><strong>college</strong> or as may be required. The students shall note that applications received after the due datemay not be considered and in that case, they will have to pay the necessary fees. The concessions intuition fee at the time <strong>of</strong> admission will be given only <strong>for</strong> Government, University Managed andBabasaheb Naik College <strong>of</strong> Engineering, Pusad(<strong>Mandatory</strong> <strong>Disclosure</strong> <strong>2010</strong>) M‐65
