If a candidate is unable to produce original certificates at the time of his/her admission on accountof admission already secured to some other institution, he or she shall produce a certificate from thehead of the institution where he/she has already taken admission indicating that he/she has beenadmitted to a particular course in that institution on a particular date and hence original certificateshave been retained in that institution. The candidate shall produce the attested copies of thecertificates duly attested by the Head of the concerned institution. Such candidates shall be requiredto pay the fees immediately at the time of admission and such candidates shall be permitted tosubmit the required original certificates within 04 working days after the date of payment of fees. After scrutiny of original documents, the candidate will have to pay prescribed full fees immediatelyin the form as prescribed by the concerned institute and confirm the admission offered. In the case ofGovernment, Government aided, University Managed institutes and University Departments,candidates are required to pay the tuition fees in the form of Demand draft in favour of the Principal/Registrar/Director as the case may be. If candidate fails to pay the prescribed full fees within the reporting time for CAP Round, thecandidate forfeits the claim on the allotted seat immediately. If a candidate is offered admission, his or her original School / College Leaving Certificate (afterqualifying examination) will be retained by the concerned Institute. This original School / CollegeLeaving certificate will not be returned to any candidate once admitted to a course at the instituteunless the candidate cancels his/her admission. All other certificates will be verified by the Institute atthe time of admission & returned to the candidate.6.5 Counselling Round for vacant seats after CAP Round-IV at Dr. Babasaheb AmbedkarTechnological University: for the candidates passing qualifying (Std.XII) examination from Thane,Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts only: Only those Maharashtra State candidates who have qualified in MHT-CET-2009 forEngineering/Technology Degree Courses conducted by the Competent Authority of Government ofMaharashtra for the academic year 2009-10, in addition to eligibility criteria as regards to educationalqualification, will be considered eligible. The seats within sanctioned intake reserved for backward class category candidates falling vacantshall be made available first to the respective backward class category candidates passing qualifyingexamination from Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts as per their inter se merit in themerit list of the respective category. Subsequently, vacant seats within sanctioned intake shall bemade available to all (open/reserved/male/female) the candidates eligible for this round.6.6 Additional Round(s): Counseling Round at Govt., Govt. Aided, University Managed andUniversity Departments only: For all the Maharashtra State candidates on the basis of MHT-CET-2009only. If any vacancies remain after the end of CAP Round-IV, the respective Principal / Director of theInstitute/Department shall conduct additional round of admission for all the Maharashtra Statecandidates (open/reserved/male/female) of all the categories who have applied through CAP as pertheir inter se merit of MHT-CET-2009 score. 6.7 Admissions to the Seats remaining vacant in Unaided institutions after CAP round-IV:(For eligible Maharashtra State candidates and Outside Maharashtra State candidates) ThePrincipal/Director of the un-aided institution has to carry out the admissions for the vacancies afterthe CAP Round-IV as per the guide lines given in Annexure-II.7.0 Fees and concessions in Govt., Govt. aided, University managed Engineering colleges,University Departments and Fees prescribed in Unaided Engineering Colleges:7.1 Fees prescribed:As per the Govt. resolution No. TEM-2003/(249/03)/TE-1, dated 11th September 2003, the tuition,development and other fees per annum for Govt., Govt. aided, University Managed Colleges andUniversity Departments is as indicated below. For Open category candidates:-Tuition fee: Rs. 15000/- For SC/ST/VJ/DT NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/SBC/OBC category candidates :-No tuition fee for admission (in any round) in Govt./ Govt. Aided/University managed Engineeringcolleges and University Departments.
