(Refer rule 6.3<strong>for</strong> details).Various steps in the process <strong>of</strong> admission to Engineering courses are also given in the Annexure-I.The steps include issue <strong>of</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation brochure, filling up & confirmation <strong>of</strong> Online CAP Application<strong>for</strong>m, filling up & confirmation <strong>of</strong> Option <strong>for</strong>m <strong>for</strong> each round <strong>of</strong> Centralized Allotment, Allotmentprocess and Reporting Rules etc. Candidates are required to read carefully the details <strong>of</strong> CAP given inthe Annexure-I and follow instructions given therein.6.1: CAP Rounds I/II/III by allotment and Round-IV by CentralizedCounseling <strong>for</strong> Maharashtra State candidates (Type A,B,C,D,E,F)Eligible candidates: - All the eligible Maharashtra State candidates (Type A-F) who have a validMHT-CET-<strong>2009</strong> score and have been assigned Maharashtra State Merit number and whose nameappear in the merit list <strong>for</strong> respective CAP rounds prepared by the Competent Authority shall beconsidered <strong>for</strong> allotment in these Rounds. Seats available: Refer Rule 2.6.1, 2.6.2 and 2.6.36.1.1 CAP Rounds I/II/III: Direct Allotment:-Allotment <strong>of</strong> seats <strong>for</strong> Home University seats and OHU seats <strong>for</strong> other university candidates comingunder CAP is carried out as per the logic explained in the rule 6.1.3.For the CAP Round-I, Stage-I, Stage – II and Stage-III <strong>of</strong> rule 6.1.3 shall be executed.
