The correctness of the entries of outgoing envelopes in the ‘Register ofDaily Abstract of Stamps Used’ would be checked by the Supervisor ofthe Central R & I Section at least once a week by actual count of thecovers ready for despatch. The check should be recorded in theregister. The Branch Officer-in-charge would also make a monthlycheck of this register.4. 4.
