MediRoyal InsolesCFI – Individuallymade insolesCFI is a concept developed with Lars Eghamn, a certified orthotistwith a long experience in making individual insoles. The CFI insoleshave a thermo-moldable area that can be fitted individually with aheat-gun. The shock absorption is provided by a thin and compressedDeRon material, covered with Fric-Stop for optimal function andcomfort.InstructionPrepare the patient with getting the right size of the insole. Apply anextra thick sock on the patient foot to protect from the heat. Removethe standard insole from the shoe. Apply the CFI insole, ifneeded trim the length with a scissor. It’s definitely easier tomake one insole at a time. Use a heat-gun with maximum150 degrees C. Heat the grey thermo-moldable area until itbecomes soft. When soft, apply in the shoe and then apply thepatient foot. Lace the shoe and load the foot slightly. It takes2-3 minutes before its set. After it’s cooled, remove from theshoe and check the result. If needed, the insole can be re-heated andadjusted. Medial or lateral wedges can be fitted individually.Living Proof
