It presents the actualsoftware and the User Interfaces that incorporate the search and retrieval algorithms described indeliverable D5.1.The deliverable begins with a report on the overall User Interfaces and the menufunctionalities. Then the following sections describe the offline and online processes of themultimedia similarity search concept and present in detail parts of the UI for each function. Thedeliverable describes in depth the database structure that the S&R engine uses and the file formats forall the types of I/O files used. Finally, section 5 discusses the software tools and implementationdetails.The 3DVIVANT search and retrieval framework provides the tools and functionality for efficientlycreate a multimodal multimedia database and perform multimodal queries. The multimodal approachenables the search for similar content using any available modality e.g. search for 3Dmodels but useintegral images as queries.4/03/2013 25
