SnowPack ® dry ice machine | - 79 °C cryogenic cooling on-tapSnowPack ® enables you to obtain a - 79 °Cdry ice tablet weighing 50 or 250 g within afew moments, without complicated technologyand without electricity! You can thereforeobtain low-cost cooling to very lowtemperatures at any time you like.SnowPack ® is often used in hospitals, universities,schools, institutes, laboratories, inthe chemical industry and in materials testingfacilities.Examples of use: Lowering the temperaturein cooling baths or cold traps, pre-coolingtissue samples, ensuring safe transport orembedding biological substances, freezingblood and tissue samples, studies in chemistry,physics and materials technology, etc.Dry ice is easy to handle, odourless and flavourless.The SnowPack ® dry ice machinecan be installed on any commercial CO 2-bottlewith a standpipe valve (thread W 21.80 x1/14” according to DIN 477 No. 6). These oftenexist in many production facilities andlaboratories anyway. If this is not the case, abottle can be rented for a small price from alocal specialist gas distributor.The use of SnowPack is easy:1. Simply screw SnowPack onto a CO 2bottle with riser valve2. Open the valve, CO 2gas flows into theSnowPack and crystallises to dry ice3. Open the clamp4.
