DESCRIPTIONTwo telescoping sections are the main supportwhich will permit raising the hi-hoist to 10 and13 feet respectively. The sections are raised bya rotating drum and aircraft cable. The collapsedheight is 6 feet 4 inches. Three legssupport the hoist and each leg has a caster.One leg is stationary and the remaining twoare adjustable to allow positioning closer towalls and partitions.The lifting cradle accepts two types ofadaptors. The straight adaptor for flatobjects(light fixtures, duct work, ceiling tiles).The “V” shaped adaptor is used primarily forconduit, pipe, or other rounded objects up to21/2” in diameter.(See Figure 1)OPERATION1. Select and install adaptors on the lifting cradle.Straight adaptors slip over the cradlearms;the “V” adaptors are inserted in the cradlearms. (Refer to Figure 1)2. Position the legs to provide the maximumstability during a lift. Legs can be adjusted byremoving the cotter pin from the leg mountingpin. Remove the mounting pin, position the legand reinstall the pin. The mounting pin mustextend through the two base plates and theshort end must hook into the leg hole.(Refer to Figure 2)
