QNX Operating system<br />
<strong>ASTRA</strong> <strong>Automation</strong> is built on the QNX real-time operating system. QNX, an established name in<br />
the embedded and real-time operating system industry, has been on the market for over 21<br />
years accumulating over 1 million downloads. QNX is a POSIX compliant multitasking multi-user<br />
operating system with strong real-time, mission-critical behavior. QNX gives reliability and<br />

<strong>ASTRA</strong> uses the Sybase SQL Anywhere as its database. Thanks to Sybase SQL's good<br />
connectivity, data can be fed to and accessed from <strong>ASTRA</strong> in almost any environment. Sybase<br />
SQL Anywhere is run on QNX.<br />
