Because these periods take often several years,activities in certain period influence significantly results in the following period.Projects of the Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education and the Slovak Academyof Sciences (VEGA) and of the Slovak Research and Development Agency (APVV)formed an essential form of research organisation and scientific projects funding at theFIIT STU. In 2011−−five VEGA projects were completed, four were progressed and seven new projectswere prepared for funding in 2012-2015,two new APVV projects started, and one new project was prepared in cooperationwith FEI STU and Slovak Academy of Sciences for funding in 2012-2015,3 UAPI – Institute of Applied InformaticsUISI – Institute of Informatics and Software EngineeringUPSS – Institute of Computer Systems and Networks
