Thenon replaceable cell and tamperproof design limits thepossibility of the alarm being disabled.OperationThe smoke detector will activate the built in sounderupon sensing smoke particles. It will automaticallyreset and silence the alarm when the smokeparticles are no longer present in the chamber. The red indicating LED will flash once every 40seconds to show that the alarm is powered and ithas performed an automatic self-test.The Ei605TY is designed for simple installation,commissioning and maintenance.The Ei605TY has a large, easy to use, combinedTest/Hush button enables full testing of the alarm andthe ability to silence false alarms.The Ei605TY has an innovative high performance opticalchamber with integral fixed insect screen reducing thepossibility of false alarms.The Ei605TY is easily installed and comes supplied withall necessary screw fixings.The built in sounder will provide a minimum soundoutput of 85dB at 3m.Pressing and holding the “Test/Hush” button willperform a self test and sound the horn – checkingthe chamber, electronics and horn.Momentarily pressing the “Test/Hush” button whenan alarm is sounding will set the alarm into “HUSH”mode.
