Ground Level Ozone (O 3)The maximum 1-hour average was 110µg/m 3 , while the maximum 8-hour average was106µg/m 3 , both occurring in May. Neither the 1-hour national maximum acceptable level(160µg/m 3 ) nor the 8-hour <strong>NWT</strong> st<strong>and</strong>ard (130µg/m 3 ) for ground level ozone was exceededin <strong>2011</strong>. The annual average was 46µg/m 3 , which is within the range of what is consideredbackground levels.
