Motion wasmade, seconded and passed that Mr. Lowe, City Engineer, be authorized to attend said convention.The Mayor and Board of Alderman on motion duly made seconded and passed authorized an expenditureof from the General Fund for an advertisement to be placed in the Lion's Club AnnualHorseshow Program.The matter of a raise in wages of the street Maintainance department came on for considerationand after a discussion motion was made by Alderman Roberts and seconded by Alderman Siskandpassed that the following emplqyees be raised effective July 1, 1958.Clarance Robinson from $.73 toBerkley Mitchell from .73 toGeorge McEwen from .65 toJack Corothers from .65 toJames Egerson from .65. toMilton Morrison from165 toi.SO per hour.80 per hour.75 per Hour.80 per hour.75 per hour.80 per hourIt was brought to the attention of the Board that Buford Fields had purchased 200 feet frontingon Williams Ave. from S. MotionWaS duly made seconded and passed and it is therefore ordered that this assessment be divided asfollows:S. T.
