ARTMENT* * * *At a prior meeting of the ~ayorand Board of Aldermen of theCity of Oxford, Mississippi, said Mayor and Board declared its intentionto purchase a new automobile for the Police Department of said City, andto trade in an automobile used by said Department.Said prior Resolution having been on the Minutes of said Mayorand Board of Aldermen for more than two weeks prior to the instant meeting,for public inspection, and no objection to or protest against said priorResolution having been made according to law;BE IT, THEREFORE, FINALLY RESOLVED by said Mayor and Board thatthe intention of said Board to purchase said automobile, as aforesaid, be,and the same is hereby, made final.The above and foregoing Resolution having been introduced inwriting by the Clerk of said Board, was read and considered section bysection, and then as a whole, and on motion of Alderman Hickman and secondedby Alderman Belk, it was adopted section by section, and then as a whole,and the vote on the final passage thereof was as follows:ALDE~N JAMES ROBERI'S - YEAALDERMAN WILLIAM LOVELADY -YEAALDERMAN wILL HI CKMAN - YEAALDERMAN F.
