HodgeELECTION COMMISSIONERSMayor Slliott recommended to the floard that the salaries of the Aldermen be increased andafter a discussion of the matter, motion was made by Alderman Elliott and seconded by AldermanCrouch and passed that the salaries of the new Board beginning July 1, 1957 be raised to $50.00per month each and it is so ordered.-Pursuant to an advertisement in the Oxford Eagle for bids on asphalt to be opened ~une 4, 1957,bids were received from the following:Southland Company, Yazoo City, Miss issippiThis being the only bid received, motion was made by Alderman Lovelady and seconded by AldermanSisk and passed that the Southland Company bid be accepted.
