Forapplications that require lessthan the maximum stroke, anexternal limit switch connectedto the web guide controller,must be installed.If there is a physical obstructionor stop that prohibits the use ofthe maximum stroke length,then an external limit switchMUST be installed to interruptthe Linear Actuator's movementbefore contact is made with thephysical obstruction or stop.Failure to use an external limitswitch will damage both theLinear Actuator and the webguiding mechanism.If there is no physical obstructionto travel, then the nonadjustable,internal limit switches may beused in their default position formaximum stroke length.Failure to use and adjustInternal or External LimitSwitches properly, can damageboth the Linear Actuator andthe Web Guiding Mechanism.331
