Each institution provides informationabout new courses, updates information about existing courses andadvises if any courses will be cancelled. All change-requests are madethrough the VTAC online course editing system: VOICES.Institutional policy and servicesIn addition to course information institutions also provideinformation to VTAC applicants about institutional policies andservices such as credit transfer, deferment, accommodation etc. Thisinstitutional information is collated and edited and provided in theVTAC publications.COURSES IN THE VTAC SYSTEMTotalsCourses (at 30 June 2011) 2086Cancelled courses (1 August 2010 – 31 July 2011) 288New courses (1 August 2010 – 31 July 2011) 468Sales and distributionCopies of VTAC Guide 2011 were available for sale in Victorian andinterstate newsagents and at the VTAC office. Copies of VICTER2013 were only available for sale via the VTAC office.Reference copies of all VTAC printed publications were distributedfree of charge to Victorian (and border) secondary schools, libraries andparticipating institutions. Schools advise VTAC of the number of Year 10and Year 12 students via an online publications ordering system to ensurethey receive an appropriate number of copies according to studentnumbers.This year printed copies were again provided free-of-charge to studentsaffected by the bushfires in February 2009.
