Outstanding cutting power: With superior power development for35mm², 50mm² and 70mm², the range offers a unique power spectrumfor processing cables up to 15mm diameter.2. Unique pull-off force: All machines of the AM 3000 series areequipped with newly-developed motors, which give extremely highpull-off power. In contrast to other manufacturers, Metzner equips everymaterial transport unit with two motors and thus doubles the power forconveying and pull-off.3. High-speed material feeding: The material feed units of theAM 3000 series give unusually high speeds of up to 180 m/min. Double-blade cutting system: The standard equipment level withthe patented »Double-Blade Cutting System« (more information ofpage 14) facilitates different cutting processes in one working pass. Rotary cutting module: The Metzner AM 3550, AM Metzner 3550Semi-rigid and Metzner AM 3750 machines are equipped with the rotarycutting module as standard. The rotary cut guarantees a precise circumferentialcut into the cable cover or sheathing. All requirements such ascut depth or blade rotation speed are freely programmable to matcheach cable and ensure constantly optimal results with different materialdemands. The rotary cut is ideal for cables with very thin or particularlytough insulation covering as well as for processing coaxial cables.9
