In response to a variety of requirements, Metzneroffers four different printing systems from leading manufacturers,which can be combined with all Metzner machines.Ink-Jet printers can produce freely programmable text, logos andmarkings on the running product without any lost time. Ink-Jet printingis a comparatively economical process, but the print quality is not ashigh as thermal transfer printing or hot stamp marker. Text input andconfiguration is carried out via the PC-operator panel of the machine orthe internal touch-screen display.Digitally programmable thermal transfer printers combine first-classprint quality and individual text printing. The printer transfers variabletexts, logos or graphics as well as barcodes in 300 dpi print quality. Forprinting, approximately 1.5 seconds is required.The Brady Wraptor also gives very high print quality. The specialfeature: All texts are printed on a white background and then wrappedwith a transparent film. This provides the best contrast and visibility forthe text.For printing of cables with the same text markings, a hot stamp markeris employed.
