Water Resistance• To prevent water coming into contact with theinternal mechanism of the watch, the crownshould under no circumstances be pulled outwhile the watch is wet,• If watches designed for sports or working in thewater are exposed to salt water or significantamounts of sweat, they should be rinsed in freshwater and dried thoroughly.• Exposure to water may affect the durability ofsome types of leather bands.• Because the internal watch parts may hold somemoisture, if the external temperature is lower thanthat inside the watch, the glass covering thewatch face may fog up. If this fogging up is onlytemporary it causes no problem, however, if itpersists over a long period of time you shoulddiscuss the matter with a salesperson at the shopwhere you purchased the watch or at a CitizenService Centre.TemperatureAvoid exposing the watch to direct sunlight orleaving it in extremely hot or cold locations for along period of time.• This will cause malfunctioning and shorten the lifeof the battery.• This may cause your watch to gain or lose timeand affect its other functionsShock• This watch will withstand the bumps and jarsnormally incurred in daily use and while playingsuch non-contact sports as golf, etc.• Dropping the watch on the floor or otherwiseimparting severe shock to it may causemalfunctioning or damage.Magnetic FieldsThis watch is antimagnetic up to 60 gauss and notaffected by the magnetic fields produced by normalhousehold electric appliances. If exposed to intense staticelectricity, the watch’s display may lose its accuracy.Keep Your Watch CleanWipe off soil and moisture from the glass with asoft, dry cloth.
