MARINE CORPS UNIFORM REGULATIONS 2006<br />
a. Woodland combat utility <strong>uniform</strong>s may be prescribed after 1 October 03.<br />
b. Desert combat utility <strong>uniform</strong>s may be prescribed after 1 October 04.<br />
c. Camouflage utility <strong>uniform</strong>s may be prescribed for Marines that<br />
received the <strong>uniform</strong>s as initial issue until 1 Oct 06, on which date it will<br />
be considered obsolete.<br />
2006. PHYSICAL TRAINING UNIFORMS<br />
1. The standard physical training (PT) <strong>uniform</strong> consists of the green general<br />
purpose trunks and the standard olive green undershirt. Footwear or headgear<br />
with PT <strong>uniform</strong>s will be as prescribed by the commander.<br />
2. The cold weather PT <strong>uniform</strong> consists of an olive green sweat shirt and<br />
olive green sweat pants, with "<strong>US</strong>MC" lettering and Marine Corps emblem on the<br />
left breast of the shirt and upper left leg of the pants per paragraph 3030.<br />
This <strong>uniform</strong> may be prescribed for unit physical training when the weather<br />
requires.<br />
3. The standard or cold weather PT <strong>uniform</strong> will be prescribed for all<br />
command PT activities except on those specific occasions when the commander<br />
determines that the wear of shirts with unit distinct markings, or when the<br />
modified wear of another <strong>uniform</strong> or other clothing is more appropriate to the<br />
respective unit’s physical training objective.<br />
2007. MATERNITY UNIFORMS (See figs. 2-30 and 2-31). The appropriate<br />
maternity <strong>uniform</strong> will be worn as the <strong>uniform</strong> of the day by pregnant females<br />
per paragraph 3016.<br />
2008. TYPES AND COMPONENTS OF AUTHORIZED UNIFORMS. Table 2-1 summarizes the<br />
currently authorized <strong>uniform</strong> combinations and appropriate occasions for the<br />
wear of each <strong>uniform</strong>. This table is designed and intended for local<br />
reproduction, posting and distribution as desired by local commanders. See<br />
tables 2-2 through 2-5 for more detailed information on the types and<br />
components of authorized <strong>uniform</strong>s. In using these tables, it is important to<br />
note that wherever a <strong>uniform</strong> choice or option is indicated, reference<br />
paragraphs should be referred to for complete <strong>regulations</strong>.<br />
