News from Canberra 331...Catherine presenting a certificate <strong>of</strong> appreciation to Canberra Circle 331The lunch at the Jamison Southern Cross Club was another rare venture to the deep North <strong>of</strong> the ACTby the doughty <strong>Catenians</strong> <strong>of</strong> both Canberra Circles. In fact, twelve couples attended the joint LadiesLunch in the Catchpole Room <strong>of</strong> the Jamison Southern Cross Club on Sunday 2nd May.The 24 present enjoyed a most convivial afternoon, and the guest speaker, Ms Catherine Cooney,Vice President <strong>of</strong> Karinya House for Mothers and Babies gave all an understanding <strong>of</strong> the wonderfulwork Karinya House does.The Catchpole Room proved an excellent venue for lunch and, as is usual with the <strong>Catenians</strong>, quicklybecame a noisy but informative afternoon.At the function, Ms Cooney presented Circle 331 with a certificate <strong>of</strong> appreciation for the generousmonetary gift the Circle recently gave Karinya House.
