This is a pilgrimage, we make as anAssociation every several years and brothers and their families have always well supported it.Bishop John Arnold our Association’s link with the Bishops Conference <strong>of</strong> England and Wales willbe our spiritual leader for the pilgrimage. I am sure he is known to many <strong>of</strong> you and members <strong>of</strong>your province and so a high attendance by us is ever more important.The intention <strong>of</strong> this letter is not only to inform you about the pilgrimage so that you can start tomention it in your own province and circles, but also ask your Provincial President to encourage aProvincial Organiser to begin making plans now for travel by coach which is not only easier butprobably much more economic.Grand President Bro Vernon is hopeful that every province capable <strong>of</strong> getting to Walsingham willattend in great numbers so that we can make a substantial public statement <strong>of</strong> our faith followingthe visit <strong>of</strong> our Holy Father who with the Church seems to be under attack and no doubt will remainso up to and during his visit. It will <strong>of</strong> course also be a public demonstration <strong>of</strong> our commitment toOur Lady.The message from Bro.
