Product & IngredientNOTE: Be careful not to confuse the separate and distinct inventory features of the <strong>SPS</strong>-<strong>500</strong>:A menu-explosion type inventory system is set up when PLUs are linked to a recipe#. Recipes andIngredients are programmed with this program.Product Mix Groups can be used to implement a simplified ingredient system for tracking onlyessential ingredients associated with items (i.e. cups for beverages or number of pieces for chickenmenus.) Product mix groups also report usage by time period and optional Product Projectionsreporting is also available. The Product Projection report provides a history of each item's sales byday of week. Product mix items and product mix group time periods are also programmed set withthis program.If used, The PLU Stock counters decrements for each activity in the PLU. PLU stock is set in thePLU program, see “PLU Stock” on page 79.Edit IngredientBefore recipes can be created, ingredients must be entered.1.
