NHS Wirral,comprising three localities and one main acute hospital, has been a HARTMANN customer since April 2000. TheHome Delivery Service meets the needs of over 7,000 patients.Debbie Ollerhead, Continence Lead, at NHS Wirral comments “We have authorised the annual inclusion of theHARTMANN Direct catalogues within patient deliveries since the start of the home delivery contract. This enhancespatient choice and allows the purchase of products for special occasions in the knowledge that they have afamiliar product and one that is clinically effective and evaluated with clients from Wirral. We provide a copy ofthe catalogue when requested and leave a copy of the catalogue at the time of assessment and if the client hasrequested additional products”.NHS Wirral has an established Continence Service policy in regard to the supply of disposable pull-up productsaccording to clinical need.
