Topics include:electrical <strong>the</strong>ory, residential wiring circuits, blueprint reading, materials selection, installationmethods, basic code requirements, and practice in wiring <strong>the</strong> student project house.Student Learning Outcomes (as described in course outline) :1. Interpret residential electrical wiring plans.2. Select proper size materials.3. Design an electrical wiring diagram <strong>for</strong> a single family residence.4. Calculate line drop, proper service size and amperage loads <strong>for</strong> single family residence.5. Lay-out and rough-in general purpose lighting and receptacle circuits.6.
