Methods :Based on the theory of life events and the practice of its application ,the original LEI - CSLA included 93 items ascribing to 5 di2mensions (family events , local social events , training and service events , ordinary life events in the army , and events of interper2sonal relation in the army) . The formal samples consisted of 1731 compulsory armymen , aged from 1626 years old. Results :(1) There were 93 items in formal LEI - CSLA. The discrimination of every item was good. (2) Test - retest correlations of eachdimension were 0. 620. 71 (the total score was 0. 74) ; Cronbach scoefficients of each dimension were 0. 670. 86(the totalscore was 0. 93) . (3) EFA showed there were two main factors accounting for 78. 97 % of the total variance , CFA showed that thefit indices ,such as AGFI ,CFI and NNFI , were all over 0. 95 ; Differences of LEI - CSLA scores in each dimension (or the totalscore) between neuroses - like patients and normal control group were significant( P < 0. 05) .
