Everyone 14 years to 60 years of age isbound to abstain from meat on AshWednesday <strong>and</strong> all the Fridays of Lent<strong>and</strong> Good Friday.2. Everyone 18 years to 60 years of age isbound to fast on Ash Wednesday <strong>and</strong>Good Friday.3. On these two days of fast <strong>and</strong> abstinence,only one full meatless meal is allowed.Two other meatless meals, sufficient tomaintain strength, may be taken accordingto each one’s needs, but togetherthey should not equal another full meal.Eating between meals is not permittedon these two days, but liquids, includingmilk <strong>and</strong> fruit juices are allowed.
