Partner Qualification Criteria :<br />
Experience in casting and heat treatment of ferrous alloys (steels and cast irons), knowledge in kinetics and<br />
mechanism of phase transformations in Fe- alloys. The partner has to be familia with high resolution technique as<br />
SEM, TEM and others.<br />
Tasks to be Performed by Partner:<br />
Industrial heat treatment of components in salt baths; Analysing of micro- and nano-structures by high resolution<br />
technique; X-Ray measuring of carbon content in stabilised austenite, Matematical modeling of phase<br />
transformations.<br />
Support Provided by Your Organisation:<br />
Mathematical modelling and experimental simulating of phase transformations during heat treatment,<br />
Experimentaly designed TTT &CCT diagrams for FE-alloys, Mechanical properties testing. Austempering<br />
technology project for application to desired components. Ductile Iron castings subjected to austempering.<br />
