DESCRIPTION: In the department of New Technologies - Swarovski R&D, we are screening, evaluating and
implementing new technologies possessing a potential value for the company. This activity is also referred to as
technology monitoring (TM). We try to identify promising emerging technologies, which have the potential to add
either value to our given products, help to optimize our production processes, or even represent an innovative
product itself. In this sense, the wide range of Nanotechnology is one of our core-searching fields.
