The Austrian Research Centers GmbH - ARC are Austria´s largest non-university center for applied research.<br />

The Austrian Research Centers GmbH - ARC is certified according to ISO9001 and EN45000. Knowledge,<br />

research capabilities, services and products are provided to industrial and private customers as well as to public<br />

authorities.<br />

The department of Bioresources is one of three departments within the division of Biogenetics-Natural<br />

Resources. The main working fields are molecular genetics, microbial analysis and microarray technology. The<br />

microarray activities involve the development of surface chemistries for biomolecule immobilization, enhancement<br />

techniques, and the development of oligonucleotide and protein arrays for environmental and food diagnostics.<br />

DESCRIPTION: We offer<br />

- a ten-years expertise of biomolecule immobilization, and consulting; potential application fields:<br />

optical/electrochemical/semiconductor biochips and sensor arrays, textile fibers, bioreactors etc.<br />

- functional surfaces and immobilization chemistries for DNA and protein chips<br />

- development of bioassays for environmental, medical & food applications<br />

- spot & scan service<br />

- partner in (inter)national R & D projects<br />
