1. Profile: RTD: Manufacturing of Quantum Cellular Nano-Devices with Apllications in Computers,<br />

Signal Processing<br />

DESCRIPTION: In our Faculty there is a Research Group which developes studies and researches regarding<br />

simulation and configuration software (specialised in Quantum Cellular Automata field - QCA). The main research<br />

directions are:<br />

- new devices manufacturing;<br />

- new processor arhitectures realisation.<br />

- Functioning Quality Improvement for Computing systems.<br />

- Superior Processing and Aquisition Speed.<br />

- Small New devices for with improved performances.<br />

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:<br />

- Computing speed for new nanoprocessors up to few THz.<br />

- Grouping inside a computing system of hundreds of nanoprocessors.<br />

CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMEN<br />

- Simulation of digital systems for reduced dimentions for signal processing.<br />

- Researching of some computer arhitectures for future processors as components of future computers.<br />

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (IPR):- Technical and techological solutions obtained will be materialised<br />

in some licences.
