PROJECT TITLE: Rrisk analysis in under-pressure plants which represent danger, the increase safety through<br />
the application of new technologies<br />
DESCRIPTION:<br />
The project proposal concerning the risk analysis in under-pressure plants which represent danger for the natural<br />
and social environment, the increase safety in exploitation these plants through the application of new<br />
technologies for monitoring and control , meets the following requirements regarding:<br />
- determining the risk of breakage for various types of under-pressure plants;<br />
- the application and development of scientific knowledge;<br />
- the use of new, advanced technologies;<br />
- the use of computerised methods for follow up, supervision, control and monitoring of all functional parameters<br />
and the damage of the under-pressure plants;<br />
- in order to increase the level of performance, safety and security for these plants .<br />
These researches shall be made in the following directions:<br />
- the realisation of studies and analyses regarding the under-pressure plants, and the determination and<br />
classification of the under-pressure plants, which represent a danger for the natural and social environment;<br />
- the actual safety level of these under-pressure industrial plants;<br />
- the risk analysis, treatment and elimination of the risk related to the plants which represent a danger for the<br />
natural and social environment;<br />
- studies regarding new advanced methods and techniques of control and monitoring of the under-pressure<br />
industrial plants;<br />
- the elaboration of solutions and systems for control, monitoring and eliminating the risk related to the underpressure<br />
plants which represent a danger for the natural and social environment;<br />
- the application of the solution based on a case study;<br />
- the experimentation of the solution based on a case study in the under-pressure plants which represent a<br />
danger for the natural and/or social environment;<br />
- the presentation and demonstration of the solution proposed;<br />
- the dissemination of the information regarding the project and the aplication, which assure an increase in the<br />
level of safety in the operation of the under-pressure plants.<br />
INOVATIVE ASPECTS:<br />
The elaboration of new solutions and systems for control and monitoring the under-pressure plants for eliminating<br />
the risk related to the under-pressure plants which represent a danger for the natural and social environment<br />
MINE ADVANTADGES /BENEFITS:<br />
By the approach of this scientific research project at the level of integrated networks, research and development<br />
activities and infrastructures shall be developed at interdisciplinary level, and the research results have the<br />
following advantadges/benefits:<br />
 social, by safety and protection enhancement in the area and at the work place, in the areas with<br />
ongoing industrial processes using under-pressure plants of a certain risk degree;<br />
 economic, by the decrease of failure risks, expenses on the repairing of under-pressure industrial<br />
plants and damages;<br />
 environmental by prevention, in case of under-pressure fluids affecting the natural and social<br />
environment.<br />
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:<br />
The main characteristics of the plants making the object of these researches are the following:<br />
- they are normal industrial type plants which represent danger;<br />
- the type of the fluid used: no corrosive/corrosive;<br />
- the plant pressure range, included between 10…600 bar, or >600 bar.<br />
CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPEMEN<br />
At present, the tendency is that of developing researches for the increase of the safety in different social<br />
and economic fields of activity, and in our field of activity, those destined for the increase of the industrial security.<br />
