-Joint research project PARTNER PROFILE: - manufacturer commercial society of mechatronic products (micromechanics, robotics) 2. Profile: RTD: Pole of Excellence for mechatronic – active partnership for a joint development – innovation strategy DESCRIPTION: Project title: Network of Excellence for nanotechnologies in “clean chambers” for the development of scientific applied research in the domain of micro-sensors/ micro-transducers/ micro-actuators with high precision The project proposes: - developing research in microtechnologies and nanotechnologies for microstructures, microsistems and mecatronic parts including microsensors and microactuators. - integrating research in the mecatronic field within the European Research Aria. The project is about accomplishing a clean room, where are going to be processed the following types of products and technologies: > high -tech mecatronic products: • sensors/ microsensors and transducers / microtransducers • actuators and microactuators; microrobots and nanorobots • high precission inteligent systems and microsystems > technologies: • measurement and control/testing micro and nanosystems • assembling mecatronic microtechniques • processing micro and nanotechniques The partnership set up, between members of Network of Excellence for nanotechnologies in “clean chambers”, is devoted to support cooperation between universities, industry, research centers and public authorities in order to gain leadership in key scientific and technology areas by coordinating and developing research infrastructures and by supporting SMEs. INNOVATIVE ASPECTS: - accomplishing a building with clean chambers, where are going to be processed the high- tech mecatronic products and micro and nanotechnologies, like: a) developing micro and nanomecatronics > robotized micromanipulation,overtaking images and control > assembling parts by SEM b) medical and biomedical > surgical interventions/surgery > intravenous navigation c) biological > recognizing, localising and identification the characteristics/features of the organic cells > organic cells manipulation MAIN ADVANTAGES / BENEFITS: - the technological development in the micro/nanotechnologies, in order to develop some important industrial sectors: naval constructions, aviations, medical, automotives. - increased the automation and information degree for micro/nanomechatronic products - reduced less materials consumption and energetical for high tech products - increase experience and professional capacity for the romanian technical personal, who will colaborate with another research mechatronic centers from UE - development of scientific applied research in the domain of micro-sensors/ micro-transducers/ micro-actuators with high precision TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: a. micro and nanosensors > resolution 0,001; 0,01; 1 µm > protection incapsulated b. micro and nanotransducers > resolution 0,01; 0,1; 1 µm > structure composite materials CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMEN The project was offered for finance and wait the Ministry resolution
