Short description of company
INCDMF is created for developing activities of scientific research and technological development in the flied of
fine mechanics and mecatronics, measurement techniques and quality management, it mainly contributes to the
elaboration of development strategy for the field and to the accomplishment, with priority, of scientific and
technologic objectives established by the National Plan of scientific research, development and the Nucleus Plan.
The object of activity of the institute mainly comprises activities in the field of fine mechanics and mecatronics,
filed that unites measurement techniques and proceedings, measurement equipments and devices for non
electric scales, medical devices, investigation and analysis devices, laboratory devices, tools and precision
devices, specific elements of micromechanics and mecatronics, quality management.
> Human resources: 180 employees, from which 117 with superior studies parted as follows:
> Total volume of activity in 2005, approx. 100 billion ROL from which:
 81,29 billion ROL contracts inside the CDI activity
 19 billion ROL direct contracts with economic agents
> 5 laboratories accredited for certifying products / technologies/ services, on the following profiles:
 pressures, temperatures
 weighting devices without automatic functioning
 pneumatic portative devices of general usage
 dimensional control
 medical devices and implants
> 3 laboratories that are to be accredited (tools and hand tools, chronotachograph and industrial flowmetry)
> shop for unique models and products with 16 workers and 25 production devices
> a connection points with the industry
> the institute is endowed with a red of approximately 140 personal computers with access to electronic mail and

> the institute regularly participates at invention and new technologies saloons in Geneva and Brussels, the
