2. Profile: RTD: Flagellin-based artificial receptors
DESCRIPTION: Transmission electron microscopy (also at atomic level), elemental mapping, X-ray
diffractometry, spectroscopic ellipsometry, Makyoh topography for wafer characterisation, focussed ion beam,
STM/AFM
MAIN ADVANTADGES / BENEFITS: short turnaround time
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: transmission electron microscopy with the resolution of 0.17 nm, elemental
mapping with the resolution of a few nm, X-ray analysis with position sensitive sensors, scanning microscopy with
a resolution of 2 nm
CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMEN In all of the above subjects we participate in running FP6 projects
TYPE OF COLLABORATION SOUGH FP7 NMP and ICT
PARTNER PROFILE: see at the description of the organisation
3. Profile: RTD: Flagellin-based artificial receptors
DESCRIPTION: Photonic crystals area type of composite material (built of two different media, with different
refractive indexes) which are able to control the propagation of electromagnetic radiation. Like the well know
semiconductor crystals have band-ga
