THE CRUSH CURL—THE MANLY CURL<br />

Crush a kettlebell between your palms, and <strong>the</strong>n curl it. Try to extend your elbows completely on<br />

<strong>the</strong> bottom of each rep. The drill develops <strong>the</strong> elbow flexors and <strong>the</strong> pecs’ crushing power. In <strong>the</strong><br />

Russian military, this drill is used to condition <strong>the</strong> shooting muscles—for keeping an assault rifle<br />

snug and operating it without fatigue. Fortunately for you, <strong>the</strong>y also happen to be <strong>the</strong> beach muscles.<br />

Recommended reps: 3–5<br />
