The following explanations provide information regardingimplementation of a <strong>water</strong> use program.Water reuse is the beneficial use of reclaimed <strong>water</strong>. Examples of <strong>water</strong> reuseinclude irrigation, cooling, or washing.Reclaimed <strong>water</strong> is domestic or municipal waste<strong>water</strong> which has been treated to aquality suitable for beneficial use.Reclaimed <strong>water</strong> is not the same as grey<strong>water</strong> which is untreated, non-toilet, <strong>and</strong>household <strong>water</strong> including <strong>water</strong> from sinks, showers, <strong>and</strong> baths.Type I reclaimed <strong>water</strong> is defined as use of reclaimed <strong>water</strong> where contactbetween humans <strong>and</strong> the reclaimed <strong>water</strong> is likely.
