12 – Command ReferenceCreateSCreateAuthoritySyntaxKeywordsCreates support files <strong>for</strong> troubleshooting I/O module problems, and certificates <strong>for</strong>secure communications <strong>for</strong> Enterprise Fabric Suite 2007 and SMI-S.Admin session <strong>for</strong> the Certificate keywordcreatecertificatesupportcertificateCreates a security certificate on the I/O module. The security certificate is requiredto establish an SSL connection with a management application such as EnterpriseFabric Suite 2007. The certificate is valid 24 hours be<strong>for</strong>e the certificate creationdate and expires 365 days after the creation date. Should the current certificatebecome invalid, use the Create Certificate command to create a new one.NOTE:To insure the creation of a valid certificate, be sure that the I/O module andthe workstation time and date are the same. Refer to the following:• “Date” command on page 12-19 <strong>for</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation about setting the timeand date• “Set Timezone” command on page 12-105 <strong>for</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation about settingthe time zone on the I/O module and workstation• “Set Setup System” command on page 12-96 (System keyword) <strong>for</strong>in<strong>for</strong>mation about enabling the Network Time Protocol <strong>for</strong> synchronizingthe time and date on the I/O module and workstation from an NTPserver.supportAssembles all log files and I/O module memory data into a file (dump_support.tgz)on the I/O module. If your workstation has an FTP server, you can proceed withthe command prompts to send the file from the I/O module to a remote host.Otherwise, you can use FTP to download the support file from the I/O module toyour workstation. The support file is useful to technical support personnel <strong>for</strong>troubleshooting I/O module problems. Use this command when directed by yourauthorized maintenance provider.
