12 Command ReferenceThis section describes the commands of the CLI and the <strong>for</strong>mat in which they arepresented. The command <strong>for</strong>mat presents the following:• Access Authority• Syntax and Keywords• Notes and ExamplesThe commands are listed in “Command Listing” on page 12-2.Access AuthorityThe Authority paragraph in each command description indicates what types ofsessions are required to enter that command. Commands associated withmonitoring tasks are available to all account names with no special sessionrequirement. Commands associated with configuration tasks are available onlywithin an Admin session. An account must have Admin authority to enter theAdmin Start command, which opens an Admin session.Some commands require that you open additional editing sessions within anAdmin session. Commands that modify the I/O module configuration require aConfig Edit session, which is opened by the Config Edit command. Thesecommand include all of the Set Config commands.• Commands that modify the Call Home e-mail notification configurationrequire a Callhome Edit session, which is opened by the Callhome Editcommand. These commands include the Callhome, Capture, and Profilecommands.• Commands that modify the Internet Protocol Security configuration requirean Ipsec Edit session, which is opened by the Ipsec Edit command.
