Hyphae undulate, branching opposite at acuteangles, loosely to closely reticulate and form almostsolid mycelial mat, cells 16–30x6–8µm. Appressoriaalternate (few opposite), straight to curved, spreading, mostly antrorse, 16–24 µm long; stalk cells cuneate tocylindrical, 4–10 µm long; head cells subglobose, ovate, angular to sublobate, 12–16x14–16 µm. Phialides borneon a separate mycelial branch and also few mixed withappressoria, alternate, mostly opposite, ampulliform,12–20x6–10 µm. Mycelial setae fairly numerous, straight, simple, acute to subacute at the tip, up to477µm long. Perithecia scattered, verrucose, up to153µm in diam.; ascospores obovoidal to cylindrical,4-septate, 32–42x10–16 µm.Material examined: 27.ii.2009 on leaves ofNothapodytes nimmoniana (Graham) Mabberley(Icacinaceae), Silent Valley, S.S.
