game 12 - toledo 52, Eastern Michigan 16Ypsilanti, MI - Logan Woodside threw for 323 yards and a career-highfive touchdowns as <strong>Toledo</strong> cruised to a 52-16 victory over Eastern Michigan.With the victory, <strong>Toledo</strong> (8-4, 7-1 MAC) earned a co-West Division championship,sharing the crown with Northern Illinois.Woodside, who completed 14-of-18 passes, threw scoring passes to fivedifferent receivers. Four of his scoring throws came in the first half, whichgave <strong>Toledo</strong> a 42-9 edge at the break. Kareem Hunt rushed for 110 yards anda TD on 22 carries, moving his streak of games with 100 or more yards to 10.<strong>Toledo</strong>’s defense kept Eastern Michigan under wraps, holding the Eaglesto 215 yards of total offense, including just 119 yards in the first half. UTalso picked off two EMU passes in the first half.The Rocket D got off to a great start when Christian Dukes picked off aReginald Bell pass at EMU’s 42-yard line on the first drive of the game. Twoplays later, Jones took a sideline screen pass from Woodside 41 yards for thescore. Following an EMU three-and-out, Dwight Macon returned a shortpunt 23 yards to the Eagles’ 48-yard line.
