Developing skills – reading, analysis and piano realization of
choral and instrumental scores – preparing for an independent
conducting work. Acquainting students with different scores
taking into consideration transposition and old notation.

Acquiring basic skills of solo singing – basics of breathing,
learning proper phonation, articulation and resonance with
necessary musical and interpretation skills. Developing and
producing habits necessary for proper voice use through the
realization of selected works of musical literature, and acquainting
with practical vocal exercises for developing and
mastering vocal technique of one own and of prospective
students’. Correction of possible mistakes.

Learning the basics of anatomy and voice physiology, its
development rules and hygiene. Understanding correlation
between physiology (work and activities of muscles participating

Practical workshop of the selected issues of: methodology

Learning choral literature through the performance of vocal
and instrumental as well as a cappella works of Polish and
foreign composers. Preview performances of young Poznan
composers’ works.
