CHORAL CONDUCTING
5-YEAR GRADUATE STUDIES
The programme is designed to enable students
the best possible mastering of the conducting
technique and provide them with extensive
musical development necessary for
independent directing of different amateur and
professional choral and instrumental ensembles.
The aim is also to prepare an organizer
and musical life animator.
Diploma exam consists of:
■ preparing and presenting a concert programme
(about 45 min.) a cappella pieces,
vocal and instrumental work (or parts of the
vocal and instrumental work)
■ M.A. thesis exam connected with choral issues.
Students earn the Master of Art degree in
choral conducting.
MUSIC EDUCATION
5-YEAR GRADUATE STUDIES
The programme is designed to equip students
with extensive knowledge and practical
skills necessary for teaching in elementary and
secondary schools, music schools of I degree,
amateur centers, private schools and amateur
movement. The specialization prepares for:
individual pedagogical work in teacher training
colleges and institutions of higher education;
work of an organizer, musical animator; work
of a conductor of different types of choral and
instrumental ensembles with the special emphasis
on school, children and teenage groups.
The diploma exam consists of:
■ preparing and presenting a concert which
includes a cappella, vocal and instrumental
as well as instrumental choral music
■ M.A. thesis exam connected with the specialization.
Students earn the Master of Art degree in music

CHURCH MUSIC
5-YEAR MASTER STUDIES
The programme is designed to prepare a
church musician responsible for the artistic preparation
of the liturgy, equipped with the knowledge
and skills of organ playing, improvisation
and accompaniment, singing, directing choral
ensembles, and an organizer and musical animator.
