STUDIES<br />

<strong>The</strong> programme is designed to prepare <strong>in</strong>strumentalists<br />

for virtuoso concerts, chamber<br />

and orchestra activities, and for the teach<strong>in</strong>g<br />

<strong>in</strong> music schools. Graduates acquire skills <strong>of</strong><br />

market<strong>in</strong>g and cultural animation. <strong>The</strong> Faculty<br />

<strong>of</strong> Instruments is the only <strong>in</strong>stitution <strong>in</strong> Poland<br />

which <strong>of</strong>fers studies <strong>of</strong> artistic viol<strong>in</strong>-mak<strong>in</strong>g<br />

(construction and ma<strong>in</strong>tenance <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>struments).<br />

Students earn the Master <strong>of</strong> Art degree.<br />

KEYBORD INSTRUMENTS<br />

5-YEAR GRADUATE STUDIES<br />

<strong>The</strong> programme is designed to prepare students<br />

for artistic solo, chamber, accompaniment<br />

and pedagogical activities. M.A. thesis is<br />

two-partite. It consists <strong>of</strong> an artistic part (prepar<strong>in</strong>g<br />

and perform<strong>in</strong>g two recitals) and a diploma<br />

written paper connected with the major<br />

<strong>of</strong> studies.<br />

Students earn the Master <strong>of</strong> Art degree <strong>in</strong> a<br />

given <strong>in</strong>strument.<br />

ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTS<br />

5-YEAR GRADUATE STUDIES<br />

<strong>The</strong> programme is designed to prepare students<br />

for fulfill<strong>in</strong>g different artistic functions: a<br />

soloist, a chamber musician, or a performer <strong>in</strong> a<br />

symphony orchestra and chamber ensembles,<br />

as well as for fulfill<strong>in</strong>g pedagogical functions.<br />
